Driver charged with DWI after fatal Houston motorcycle crash

HOUSTON, TX – A man was arrested on Saturday afternoon following a collision that left a motorcyclist dead, KPRC reports.
The accident occurred at about 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of South Shaver Street and Wald Road.
Investigators believe the driver of a black Kia Soul, 35-year-old Christopher Lawrence Baulch, left a stop sign and crossed through all lanes of travel. Baulch’s vehicle then collided with an oncoming motorcyclist.
The unidentified motorcyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later. Baulch was taken into custody under suspicion of DWI.
