1 dead, 1 critically injured following hit-and-run in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A woman is dead and another person is severely injured following a hit-and-run crash in North Houston early this morning, according to KTRK.

The crash happened on the 610 North Loop, near Kirkpatrick, at about 2 a.m., when at least two vehicles collided. One of those drivers then fled the scene.

A woman was pronounced dead after the accident.

Another victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities continue to search for the driver and to investigate the collision.
