Man dies from injuries sustained in June hit-and-run crash

HOUSTON, TX – A man died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash that took place in June, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, Roland Lewis Jr., was walking near the 14000 block of FM 529 around 9:21 p.m on June 16. He was then hit by a blue Hyundai that fled the scene of the crash.

Lewis Jr. was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries on July 17.
