Edinburg- Trenton and 24th Avenue crash kills woman

A deadly two vehicle accident took the life of one woman at the intersection of Trenton Avenue and 24th Avenue.
According to initial reports, the accident took place at about 10 a.m on Monday. The minivan was traveling along the avenue when it collided with a Nissan passenger car. It is not yet determined how the crash actually happened or which vehicle is at fault.
The female passenger of the minivan was immediately transferred to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. She was only identified as a 55-year-old woman. The passengers of the Nissan vehicle are also hurt but the extent of their injuries remains unknown. They were also transported to a medical center for treatment.
An investigation into the crash is in progress. Anyone who has seen the accident or has information that will give light to what happened is encouraged to contact the authorities.
