Man in wheelchair hit and killed by vehicle on Navigation Boulevard

HOUSTON, TX – A man in a wheelchair was hit and killed by a vehicle on Navigation Boulevard on Tuesday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
A black Chevrolet Silverado was traveling near 7500 Navigation Boulevard when he hit a man in a wheelchair that was in the roadway around 6 a.m. The 30-year-old driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries.
