Bogata—Teens Died on Highway 37 Collision

At least two teenagers lost their lives after getting involved in a car accident on Texas Highway 37 last Friday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a collision at around 3:30 p.m. Two vehicles, identified as 1997 one-ton pickup and three-quarter ton Dodge pickup, were heading north on the highway when they somehow collided. A preliminary investigation shows that one of the vehicles involved unexpectedly took a U-turn slot in the middle of the highway which may have caused the crash. However, this has not been confirmed by local authorities.
Both drivers of the vehicles, 17-year-old Brandon Earley of Reno and 18-year-old Kolby Fletcher, were pronounced dead at the scene. They were reportedly Rivercrest ISD students, as per reports.
The investigation is still in progress.
