10-foot alligator killed in bizarre accident in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – A 10-foot alligator was killed in a bizarre accident in Montgomery County on Thursday morning, ABC 13 reports.
The driver was traveling eastbound on the Grand Parkway over the San Jacinto River around 3 a.m. when he hit the alligator, which was around 10-feet long and 300 pounds. The man’s car was significantly damaged following the crash.
Unfortunately, the alligator did not survive the accident. In the event that you encounter an alligator on the highway, contact the local game warden at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department or law enforcement.
