UPDATE: HCSO issues press release on fatal crash on FM 2100

CROSBY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has issued a press release regarding the fatal crash that took place on FM 2100 last night.

According to the press release, Sonya Wingate was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe near 17500 FM 2100. At around the same time, Madison Thompson was driving near the area in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox.

For unknown reasons, Thompson veered into the northbound lane and struck Wingate’s vehicle head-on. He was declared dead at the scene while Wingate was taken to the hospital via LifeFlight.
