Pedestrian hit and killed while walking home in northeast Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian was hit and killed while walking home in northeast Harris County on Saturday night, according to Click2Houston.

A 65-year-old man was walking home from the gas station when he was hit while crossing near North Lake Houston Parkway and Greensbook Garden Drive. He died at the scene of the crash.

Authorities say the area was poorly lit at the time of the crash. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No charges have been filed.
