At least one dead in big rig collision near downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – At least one person is dead following a big rig collision that took place near downtown Houston this morning, per KHOU 11.

The accident was reported on the ramp connecting the Katy Freeway to the Eastex Freeway a little before 5 a.m. this morning. While the official cause of the accident has not been released, investigators believe that the truck flipped over while taking a curve near the ramp.

The identity of the victim has not been reported.
