Motorist killed in single-car crash on Westheimer near Mission Bend

HOUSTON, TX – A motorist was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Westheimer Road near Mission Bend on Sunday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

The driver evidently lost control of their vehicle in the 15600 block of Westheimer, just southeast of Bush Park. The vehicle went up a grassy knoll and then into a waterway.

The driver, who has not been identified at this time, died at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
