Suspect and innocent driver die in police chase crash in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A suspect and innocent driver died in a police chase crash in west Houston this morning, according to ABC 13.
A Harris County Precinct 5 began chasing after the suspect after the driver of a red Camaro sped past him without headlights on. The Camaro left the highway on the Clay Road intersection, hitting the driver of a Ford Ranger.
The Ford Ranger immediately burst into flames after the crash, trapping the innocent driver inside. They did not survive.
The Camaro eventually flipped over and threw the suspect out of the car, fatally injuring them.
Authorities are working to identify both involved.
