Tyler–Pin-in Collision at Highway 271 and Northeast Loop 323 Intersection

A Thursday morning collision on Highway 271 near Northeast Loop 323 resulted in one injury, a local news source reports.
Local emergency crews responded to a pin-in wreck at around 9:35 a.m. at the said intersection. Based on a preliminary investigation, a passenger car was reportedly making a left turn when crossed into the path of an SUV. It was not yet determined which vehicle have the right of way.
The impact of the crash injured the driver of the passenger car. The extent of his injuries was not released but it was confirmed that he was treated by medics on scene. Fortunately, the SUV driver did not suffer from any injury. He was shaken from the crash, as per police.
No identification has been released at this time.
Investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability.
