Woman dies in rollover accident in northeast Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A woman died in a rollover accident in northeast Harris County late Sunday night, KHOU 11 reports.

The woman was reportedly driving a Hyundai SUV westbound on the North Sam Houston Parkway when she attempted to pass a vehicle near Wilson Road. She lost control of her SUV and hit a nearby curb, causing her vehicle to roll over.

The victim, who has not been identified, was thrown from her car and declared dead at the scene.

The collision remains under investigation.
