El Paso—Several Injured Following A Fatal Crash on Bowdoin Drive

The police officials are still investigating a car accident on Bowdoin Drive which injured several high school students, a local news source reports.
According to initial reports, the fatal crash took place last Wednesday night, just before 10 p.m. A Hyundai Veloster was heading south on Horizon Avenue when it ran a red light at the intersection near Bowdoin Drive. The Hyundai then crashed into a Nissan Sentra that was traveling along the eastbound lanes of Bowdoin.
The impact of the collision injured at least six occupants from both vehicles. They were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries, as well as their identifications, were not immediately released pending notification of the victim’s family members.
Local emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist in the clearing. The crash remains under investigation.
