Multiple injured, including child, after car crashes into Fiesta Mart in south Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Multiple people were injured, including a 9-year-old child, after a crash crashed into a Fiesta Mart in south Houston on Saturday afternoon, CBS DFW reports.

The vehicle crashed into the Fiesta Mart around 3 p.m. that afternoon. After the collision, a 9-year-old child was injured and an older adult suffered a head injury. In total, 8 people were hurt.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the incident, but the driver reportedly showed signs of impairment.
