Pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by hit-and-run driver in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was taken to the hospital following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in north Houston last night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident occurred in the Airline Terrace area north of Aldine, at 310 Hambrick Road, before 8 p.m., when a male pedestrian was struck by a driver.
The driver, whose description was not immediately released, fled the scene of the accident.
The victim was taken to the hospital in reportedly stable condition. His identity was not immediately available.
No other injuries were reported.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
