Abilene- Donna Doss Dies in A Collision on Interstate 20

A female Border Patrol Agent was struck and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 20 last Saturday night, police say.
According to a local news source, a woman was with the Department of Public Safety, assisting traffic at the intersection of Interstate 20 frontage road when a passing vehicle struck her. The border patrol agent was reportedly crossing the road when the incident took place.
The impact of the collision killed the agent instantly. She was identified as Agent Donna Doss, 49.
The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody. His identification was not released by local authorities.
Whether the driver will be charged or not is yet to be confirmed.
