Possibly intoxicated driver crashes into utility poles near Aldine Bender

HOUSTON, TX – A possibly intoxicated driver crashed into utility poles near Aldine Bender on the morning of Wednesday, December 30, according to Captain John Shannon of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
District 2 working a crash at 1099 Aldine Bender. Male driver left the roadway and hit several utility poles his car then burst into flames. The driver reportedly left the roadway near 1099 Aldine Bender, crashing into several utility poles before his car burst into flames. Luckily, he survived the accident with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe intoxication may have factored into the incident.
