Man killed in drunk driving wreck on Katy Hockley Cutoff Road

KATY, TX – A man was killed in a drunk driving wreck on Katy Hockley Cutoff Road on Christmas Day, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.

According to the HCSO, Narachanthy Net was driving a 2017 GMC Sierra near 8300 Katy Hockley Cutoff Road when he failed to maintain a single lane, crashing into a nearby ditch. Net’s car also hit a concrete culvert in the vicinity.

Both Net and the front seat passenger, an Asian male, were taken to the hospital via LifeFlight. His passenger, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries. Net was found to be intoxicated at the time of the accident and has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
