UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal hit-and-run collision on Tidwell Road

HOUSTON, TX – The victim in the fatal hit-and-run collision that took place on Tidwell Road on Tuesday, December 15 has been identified, according to Click2Houston.
27-year-old Jessica Chapa was driving a green Jeep when she was struck by a gold pickup truck near the 6200 block of Tidwell Road. She was thrown from her car and was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle did not stop after the crash. Anyone with information about this incident should contact the Houston Police Department’s Hit-and-Run Unit at 713-247-4072.
