UPDATE: HPD issues press release on fatal wreck near 7800 Westheimer Road

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department issued a press release regarding the fatal wreck that took place near 7800 Westheimer Road on Friday.
According to the press release, 27-year-old Nubia Yasmineth Sibrian was driving while intoxicated near 7800 Westheimer Road when she struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road. The victim, who was not using a crosswalk, died at the scene of the crash.
Sibrian was determined to be intoxicated at the time of the crash and has since been charged with a DWI.
