Man killed after crashing into tree on Kempwood Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed this morning after he crashed his car into a tree in northwest Houston, according to ABC 13 Houston.
The accident occurred in the 8000 block of Kempwood Drive at about 2:30 a.m., when a male driver went off the left side of the roadway.
The vehicle went over the curb, then collided with a tree in the median.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, died at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released a possible cause of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
