Man killed after being hit by car while walking on Westheimer Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after he attempted to walk across Westheimer Road early this morning, according to ABC 13 Houston.
The accident occurred less than 24 hours after another fatal accident on Westheimer claimed the life of a pedestrian.
The collision occurred near the intersection of Hillcroft and Westheimer at about 1 a.m., when a driver collided with a pedestrian walking in the roadway.
The victim, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The driver was not reported as hurt.
Authorities do not believe that the driver was under the influence, and as of now, are labeling the collision as accidental.
