UPDATE: Man dies from injuries sustained after crashing into bayou in late November

HOUSTON, TX – A man died from injuries sustained after crashing into a bayou in late November, according to the officers at the Houston Police Department.
Rogelio Villafana, 41, was driving a black Dodge Ram pickup truck near 7900 Bellfort Avenue when he struck a curb and nearby light pole. His car then hit a guardrail and crashed into the bayou.
Villafana was rushed to a nearby hospital — he was declared dead on December 7. A passenger in the vehicle, a minor, was treated for injuries at the scene.
