Minor injuries in rollover hit-and-run accident in Atascocita

ATASCOCITA, TX (HARRIS COUNTY) – A driver who allegedly caused a rollover accident in Atascocita early this morning fled the scene on foot, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable.
Major Crash in the 7200 block of FM 1960 East in Atascocita. Two vehicles turned over in the ditches. Only minor injuries.
Driver that caused the crash fled on foot before units arrived. Search is underway for that driver.

The accident occurred in the 7200 block of FM 1960 E at about 3:45 a.m.
Two vehicles collided, resulting in them rolling over into the ditches nearby.
Minor injuries were reported as a result, though the identities of the victims have not yet been made available.
The driver whom police believe to be responsible for the crash abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot. Authorities are currently searching for the suspect.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
