HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in a collision on FM 1960 this morning, ABC 13 reports.
The driver of a car was heading eastbound near 6300 FM 1960 when he hit the pedestrian. He did not stop at the scene as he claims that he thought that he hit an email.
The driver of a wrecker noticed a pickup truck with significant damage on the right side of the vehicle and followed the truck. He had heard about the accident from a call drop for the incident.
Investigators said the driver responsible for the pedestrian’s death cooperated with authorities and said he planned to file a police report after the crash. The victim was reportedly walking in a poorly lit area and was wearing dark clothing.
