Bicyclist killed in collision on Wilcrest Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was killed in a collision on Wilcrest Drive on Monday, November 2, according to the Houston Police Department.

The 56-year-old bicyclist was traveling near 8400 Wilcrest Drive when he was struck by a passing Dodge 1500 pickup truck. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and declared dead on Saturday, November 7.

It is not known if the victim’s death was caused by injuries sustained in the wreck or by other factors. The driver involved remained at the scene and was not detained by police.
