One person airlifted to hospital following Mission Bend car accident

HOUSTON, TX – One person airlifted to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in west Houston yesterday morning, according to a tweet posted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened in the Mission Bend area at the intersection of Corinna Dr and Sugarland Howell Rd and was reported by HCSO at 8:50 a.m.
One person was airlifted to the hospital with serious, but non-critical injuries.
HCSO authorities advised travelers to avoid the area, as delays and closures were likely.
The identity of the victim and the circumstances of the collision have not yet been released.
