Man killed in collision with cement mixer in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a collision with a cement mixer in southeast Houston on Tuesday morning, according to Click2Houston.

Authorities say the driver of the cement-mixing truck was attempting to turn onto Mykawa when he was struck by a sedan that was reportedly speeding. The driver of the sedan was killed upon impact.

Police are awaiting results to determine if the victim was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
