Weatherford — 1 Dead After 2-Vehicle Wreck on FM 51

On Monday, January 28, 2019, a 2-vehicle accident occurred on FM 51, near Stonebridge Drive, that resulted in the death of a young girl.
According to preliminary investigation, a Toyota Corolla was traveling south on FM 51 and had stopped to allow northbound traffic to pass before making a left turn onto Stonebridge Drive. A 2017 Dodge Ram pickup that was towing a flatbed trailer was not able to control its speed, and as a result, it rear-ended the Toyota.
Angela Quintana, the 43-year-old driver of the Toyota, and a young girl passenger were brought to Fort Worth with undisclosed injuries. A second young girl passenger was dead at the scene.
Randall Burcham, the 67-year-old driver of the Dodge, was not injured.
It is unfortunate to hear of the death of the young girl because of this accident. Sadly, she is not the first victim whose life is taken away by a car accident.
