96-year-old woman killed in wreck on Eldridge Parkway

HOUSTON, TX – A 96-year-old woman was killed in a wreck on Eldridge Parkway on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20, according to the Houston Police Department.
A 24-year-old woman in a black Cadillac failed to yield the right of way, crashing into a silver Cadillac near 2400 Eldridge Parkway. The silver Cadillac then struck a tree— all inside were immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident.
One of the passengers, a 96-year-old woman, was declared deceased at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
An investigation into the wreck remains open.
