9-year-old injured in Cypress hit-and-run

HOUSTON, TX – A 9-year-old child riding a bike was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident in Cypress last night, according to KPRC2.
The accident happened on the 14700 block of Fir Knoll Way at about 8 p.m. A driver who has yet to be publicly identified hit the victim with their car, then allegedly fled the scene.
The child received minor injuries in the accident.
The hit-and-run driver is facing a felony charge of failing to stop and render aid.
