6 bicyclists injured after being struck by teen driver near Waller

WALLER, TX – Six bicyclists were injured after being struck by a teen driver on Highway 290 Saturday afternoon.
According to Fox News, the 16-year-old driver was attempting to blow diesel fuel smoke at the group of cyclists when he ended up hitting three of them.
Of the six injured, two were airlifted to Houston-area hospital. Two others were transported via ambulance and the remaining two were treated for injuries at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. It is unclear what charges they will face at this time.
