42-year-old woman killed in Eastex Fwy. crash

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed following a rollover collision on the Eastex Freeway this morning.

According to a report by HPD, the victim was behind the wheel of a GMC Terrain heading south in the 6900 block of Eastex Freeway when she struck the concrete barrier.

The SUV then rolled over at least two times before coming to a rest in the roadway.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
