HOUSTON, TX – A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver during a gender reveal party in southeast Houston last night, according to KHOU.
The collision happened in the 6700 block of Japonica Street, near Flowers Street, at about 8 p.m., as a 4-year-old girl was reportedly playing in the street as a party was going on. She was then struck by the driver of a grey sedan, possibly a 2012-2016 Chrysler, who then fled the scene.
The child was taken to the hospital in critical, but stable condition.
Authorities continue to search for the suspect driver and to investigate the accident.
