23-year-old killed in collision with tow truck on Beltway 8

HOUSTON, TX – KHOU 11 reports that a 23-year-old was killed in a collision with a tow truck on Beltway 8 on the morning of Wednesday, August 12.

The tow truck was responding to a call near John F. Kennedy Boulevard when it was struck by a blue Chevrolet Tahoe driven by the victim. The 23-year-old was killed upon impact, according to authorities.

It is not known what led to the crash.
