2 injured after car crashes off NE Houston freeway ramp

HOUSTON, TX – Two men were rushed to the hospital after a vehicle crashed off of the Eastex Freeway last night.

According to a report by Fox 26 Houston, the crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. near the I-610 interchange.

Police say the vehicle crashed off the ramp for unknown reasons and plummetted about seven feet before catching fire.

Both male occupants were extricated by police officers and taken to a nearby hospital with serious burn injuries.
