BAYTOWN, TX – An 18-wheeler rolled over early on Monday morning, spilling hazardous material on westbound I-10.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. on June 15, a commercial truck carrying diesel fuel rolled over on I-10 near Thompson Road. ABC 13 reports that diesel fuel spilled across the highway in the crash, forcing officials to close westbound and eastbound I-10 as a hazmat team cleaned the road.
The size of the crash caused traffic delays on I-10 throughout the morning. However, the eastbound lanes of traffic re-opened to traffic at approximately 10:12 a.m.
At this time, there is no information about what caused the crash or if anyone was injured in the accident.
