18-wheeler crash closes I-610 ramp from US-59 in uptown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A ramp for I-610 was closed this morning after a rollover truck accident in uptown Houston, according to a tweet by the Houston Police Department.
610 West Ramp, from U.S. 59 North, 610 West Ramp is closed due to overturned 18 Wheeler and debris on the roadway. All main lanes of U.S. 59 North are flowing. #houtraffic

The accident happened on the ramp to I-610 West from US-59 N, and was reported by police at 9:35 a.m.
The crash involved an 18-wheeler truck that rolled over an unspecified number of times, and debris from the collision also covered part of the highway.
The exact circumstances of the crash and the identity of the truck driver are not currently available.
Authorities closed the 610 ramp, but all of the main lanes of US-59 remained open after the crash.
