17-year-old severely hurt in ATV vs car crash in Katy

KATY, TX – A collision between a car and an ATV in a field in Katy this afternoon caused a 17-year-old boy to be seriously injured, according to KHOU.
The accident happened in the 5900 block of Fry Rd and was reported by KHOU just after 6:45 p.m.
The teenage victim was briefly treated at the scene for severe injuries before being airlifted in critical condition to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
No other injuries were reported in connection with the crash.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
