17-year-old killed in Southwest Houston crash

HOUSTON, TX – A 17-year-old driver was killed in a major rollover crash in a southwest Houston neighborhood early Monday morning.
According to a report by HPD, the crash took place shortly after 3 a.m. on Dashwood Drive near the Hillcroft Avenue intersection.
Police say the driver lost control of his gray Cadillac at a high rate of speed and crashed into the ditch. The car then rolled several times, ejecting the driver in the process.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
