16-year-old hit and killed by car while riding bike

HOUSTON, TX – An unidentified 16-year-old was hit and killed by a car while riding his bike in west Harris County on Thursday morning, Click2Houston reports.
The victim was riding a BMX bicycle with his friend on Greenhouse Road when he was suddenly his from behind by an oncoming gray Mazda 6. The boy was thrown onto a nearby grass median and was killed upon impact. The driver of the Mazda 6 fled the scene.
