15-year-old killed in drunk driving accident

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A fifteen-year-old boy was tragically killed in a drunk driving wreck on Friday morning, according to KHOU 11.Â
The teenager was a passenger in a BMW that was hit by a Hummer on Highway 6 near Loch Katrine Lane at 2:22 a.m. The force of the crash caused the BMW to crash into a steel pole and split in half.
Tristan Sanders, the victim, was ejected from the vehicle and killed upon impact. The driver and front-seat passenger were seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.
The driver of the Hummer, Carlos Ayala, was charged with a DWI.
