13-year-old boy in critical condition following dirt bike accident in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A dirt bike crash in northwest Houston yesterday led a teenager to be airlifted to the hospital in life-threatening condition, according to KHOU.
The crash happened in the 9600 block of Zaka Rd in the Maple Leaf Gardens neighborhood area last night and involved a 13-year-old boy who was not publicly identified.
The teenager was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.
The cause of the accident was not made immediately available.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
