1-year-old injured after allegedly speeding driver rear-ends car

MISSOURI CITY, TX (FORT BEND COUNTY) – A 1-year-old child was injured Wednesday afternoon in a rear-end collision in Missouri City that reportedly involved speeding.
According to MyAccident.org, the collision occurred on S University Boulevard at about 12:45 p.m., when the driver of a white 2018 Dodge, a 48-year-old man from Missouri City, allegedly failed to control his speed.
He collided with the rear of a white 2018 Chrysler, operated by a 21-year-old Texas woman.
A 1-year-old boy traveling in the Chrysler suffered non-critical wounds in the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
The identities of the drivers and the victim have not yet been reported.
The weather was clear when the accident occurred.
