Man killed after colliding with utility pole in fiery Humble crash

HUMBLE, TX – A man was killed in a fiery, single-vehicle collision early this morning after crashing into a utility pole in Humble, according to a report by KPRC2.
The accident occurred in the 8800 block of FM 1960 at about 2:20 a.m. when the driver of a Honda Accord swerved between lanes and lost control of the vehicle.
The Accord went off the side of the roadway and collided with a pole before landing in a grassy area nearby. The vehicle then caught fire.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was killed at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident at this time.
