Plainview – Several Injured on Quincy Street

The Plainview Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Quincy Street last Wednesday.
At around 8:00 a.m., local police officers responded to Southwest Third Street near Quincy Street to assist in an auto collision. According to the report, a GMC pickup truck that was traveling along the roadway collided with another car. One of the drivers sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. She was only identified as a 22-year-old female driver. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old woman and two children, ages 7 and 9, were also taken to a medical facility for further care. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Initial investigation shows that the pickup truck did not yield to the stop signal which caused the accident.
