The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the names of the victims who died in a fatal accident on Interstate 10 East at mile marker 103.
The fatalities were identified as Deborah Driggars Regan, 63, and Terry Dexter Huey, 64, both of Springtown, Texas. Regan was reportedly driving a semi-truck along I-10, five miles from Sierra Blanca, when, for reasons that have not yet been determined, she struck the rear side of a truck. The force of the impact was so great, the semi-truck burst into flames, killing both Regan and Huey.
The driver of the truck, identified as Gurcharan Singh, 52, of Foothill Ranch, and his passenger, identified as Fidadelfo, Juarez, 56, of Eastvale, sustained injuries and were transported to Culberson County Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
