At least six people were sent to a hospital after a bus crash on Lee Road, according to a local news source.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the incident took place at the intersection of Lee Road and Will Clayton Boulevard. An airport shuttle bus was seen near Bush Intercontinental Airport when it collided with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) carrying five passengers. Police said that the SUV, for reasons that had not been determined yet, ignored a red signal and t-boned the Fast Park shuttle bus. The force of the impact caused both vehicles to rollover a number of times.
Six people sustained injuries as a result of the crash. They were all rushed to local hospitals where they received medical treatment.
No charges have been filed as the moment.
The investigation continues.
